My name is Isobel and I live in sunny Sydney, Australia. I have had a love for food, cooking (and taste-testing) ever since I can remember. The kitchen is my happy place. It is where I go to relax and unwind. I learnt to cook with my mum and grandma, standing on a stool so my head could peak over the kitchen bench to see what they were making. Food is my creative outlet. I love experimenting with different flavours and trying things for the fun of it, even if they don’t always work out. The best recipes often come together when you’re forced to throw together whatever you have left in the fridge. That’s the joy of cooking, the fun and surprise of it. ‘Joie de vivre’ means a cheerful enjoyment of life, and I have made this blog to share the recipes I hope will help you achieve this sentiment. Enjoy!
